Cosaic enters a new commercial chapter

The recent funding round led by dsm-firmenich Ventures and the strategic partnership with Ingredion have marked a decisive new phase for Cosaic, unlocking the opportunity to accelerate commercial deployment of our technology, expand market traction, and build the infrastructure to scale.
To lead this next stage, we welcome Juan Manuel Benitez-Garcia as Chief Commercial Officer. Juan brings deep industry expertise accumulated across ADM, Novozymes, and DuPont, where he held senior commercial leadership roles. He complements that foundation with hands-on startup execution as Chief Commercial Officer of Solar Foods. Juan has demonstrated how to build partnerships and generate profitable revenue at every stage of company growth, and he knows this industry from the inside.
This appointment follows the remarkable tenure of Lucie Rein, who served as CCO for over three years and built Cosaic's commercial foundation. Under her leadership, the company developed a distinct brand identity, sharpened its market positioning, and secured two major strategic partnerships, transforming what began as a deep-science bet into a market-ready business. Her contribution to what Cosaic is today is foundational.
The transition is deliberate and the team is focused on advancing current partnerships, continuing to grow the pipeline, and bringing the product to market to enable better performance across food, beverage, and nutrition applications.
